The technological upgrade of digital metering pumps has made a leap from mechanical adjustment to intelligent and precise control.

In the field of industrial fluid control, every breakthrough in measurement accuracy has driven a leap in production efficiency. In the past, traditional mechanical metering pumps relied on manual adjustment of stroke, which not only had an error of over ±5%, but also required downtime for operation, seriously affecting continuous production. However, the technological innovation of digital metering pumps has completely broken this limitation, achieving a qualitative change from "approximate control" to "precise intelligence". 
The core technological breakthrough lies in two aspects: the drive and the control. At the drive end, high-precision stepper motors are used, combined with a ball screw transmission structure, converting electrical pulse signals into micrometer-level piston displacements, ensuring the flow control accuracy to be within ±0.15% or even better, which is over 30 times higher than that of traditional pumps. At the control end, an embedded intelligent chip is installed, capable of receiving signals such as 4-20mA and RS485 in real time, supporting remote parameter setting and real-time monitoring, without the need for manual on-site operation. For example, the WELI digital metering pump, through an internal PID regulation algorithm, can automatically correct the flow according to changes in pipeline pressure, ensuring that the dosage always meets the process requirements, thus solving the measurement deviation problem caused by pressure fluctuations in traditional pumps. 
In addition, the digital metering pump has also achieved upgrades in terms of material and structural design. The components in direct contact with the fluid are made of perfluorinated ether rubber and ceramic materials, with the corrosion resistance increased to five times that of traditional pumps. It can be adapted to harsh working conditions such as strong acids and strong alkalis. At the same time, the modular design makes maintenance more convenient. Replacing the sealing parts only takes 15 minutes, saving 80% of the maintenance time compared to traditional pumps. This comprehensive technological upgrade not only meets the precise metering requirements of modern industries, but also promotes the intelligent transformation in the field of fluid control.
